Printmaking

The process of physically layering and working into paper using various printmaking methods is one that fascinates me because often, going into creating a series of prints, I have no idea how they'll turn out - it's through the act of play and creation that the pieces come to life. Through mediums such as screen printing, mono printing, etching, and cyanotype, I play with concepts of fractals, interconnection, and natural patterns, often combining printing methods. I also bring a hand-made element by hand stitching some pieces and creating zines and books using various binding methods. Most of these pieces are created at the Columbia University print lab and some at my home in Oakland, CA
